Yoga classes Online via Zoom

HI, I'M JODIE!
I’m an outdoor kinda person, I like castles, old houses and history, frolicking in pretty dresses and I love the rain. I’m in love with the mountains and with my husband (and Perry cat) sometimes he might question which comes first. I love Scotland and everything Scottish, haggis goes with pretty much everything (maybe not ice cream). Folk music is my jam. I love things that make me feel strong and capable, yoga, bouldering, sea swimming and massive hikes. I have had to learn to pace myself as my pcos and fibromyalgia (and all their lovely symptoms) sometimes mean I can’t go as hard as I’d like, but yoga has taught me a lot including patience.
Yoga is my thing, I’m a forever student and I love sharing it with everyone who wants to learn. I’ve been practicing for over 13 years and teaching for 9 years. I’ve tried every style but I’m an Ashtanga girl at heart, however I’m definitely not a traditional one! My classes are all based in ashtanga vinyasa yoga (except the yin yoga) however you will see a lot of different movement patterns in my classes as you have to work with the body you’ve got and we aren’t looking for something that looks a certain way but something that feels interesting and safe in your body.
I teach classes online at the moment as we are in a big life transition right now. I have a few different classes so hopefully there’s something that will work for you.
Yoga is many things to many people, there are many different styles of yoga, different lineages and if you asked 100 people what yoga was and does for them you would likely get 100 different answers. That is the beauty of yoga. Meet yourself on the mat, learn about you and your body and take what you need.
I believe yoga can be for everyone you just need to find the right Yoga class and the right Yoga teacher.
I'm constantly continuing to build on my knowledge as there is always something else to learn or deepen your knowledge of when it comes to Yoga and the complimentary therapies. I regularly attend CPD courses and workshops to develop my teaching and my own practice. I completed my RYT500 Advanced Yoga teacher training with Meadowlark Yoga.

YOGA CLASSES
ONLINE GENTLE YOGA
This is steady paced class great for people new to yoga or who would like a slower pace. We move and breath mindfully through a sequence, all of the postures are grouped together so you aren’t getting up and down off the floor, (all seated postures together, standing postures together). It’s great for people who may have limited mobility or injury's but everyone is welcome.
ONLINE YOGA
This class get you sweaty, moving and breathing your way through standing postures, seated, backbends, inversions and ending with savasana. It’s suitable for most levels as options are given but a knowledge of some of the more common postures is useful as we move at a quicker pace.
ONLINE YIN YOGA
This is a gentle slow and restful class, spend the hour nice and cozy in your own house (maybe even in your pjs) working on your breathing and a little gentle movement then setling in for some yin postures supported by pillows and cussions) and a long savasana. You dont need any special props just bits and peices from around the house.
It’s a great way to relax and get a good nights sleep
class is suitable for all levels, beginners welcome. Link for all online classes - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86380952796?pwd=Umg2VElTTlJwd2V0RHdqaFU1b1BLQT09
